How to tie your belt?

In this lesson we will look at two common ways people tie their belt. The Korean word for belt is tti (띠).
Ranks
The belt order at Chongmukwan is: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, red, red/black, black. The ranks for coloured belts are called geup (급) in Korean. The ranks for black belt are called dan (단). The ranks for coloured belts are counted down, ie. white belt is 9th geup, yellow belt is 8th geup, etc. The ranks for black belt are counted up from 1st till 9th dan.
