The ninth technique is called jung-pal-tu-beop (중팔투법). To understand the name we have to look at the meaning of the individual syllables. We already learned that tu means throwing, and beop means method. The meaning of jung is middle, pal means arm. We are throwing our opponent by applying pressure to the middle of his arm.
